Introduction to Computer Systems Servicing NC II TESDA

Computer Systems Servicing NC II (CSS NC II) is a course that will train and assess individuals based on the competency standard set by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). 

Trainees are expected to acquire the skills and knowledge based on the industry standards. 

Computer Systems Servicing NC II Core Competencies 
  • Install and Configure Computer Systems 
  • Set-up Computer Networks 
  • Set-up Computer Servers  
  • Maintain and Repair Computer Systems
Although the CSS NC II consists of Basic, Common and Core Competencies, you should focus your attention on the core competencies.  The core competencies will be the basis of the candidate's assessment in passing the Computer Systems Servicing NC II National Certificate. 

A person who has achieved this Qualification is competent to be:  
  • Computer Assembler 
  • Computer Service Technician  
  • Network Technician 
  • Computer Maintenance Technician  
The job position is not only limited to one mentioned above you can also apply as a Junior Network Administrator, Technical Support, etc.

  1.  Is there a training free?   
    TESDA, through its accredited  training centers offers scholarship for qualified individuals.  However some training centers have training fees in taking the course.  You can visit the TESDA website to find out where to get free training. 
  2. Will I have a certificate after training? 
    After the training, the training center will give you an institutional certificate.  In you want to be a competent CSS NC II holder, trainees should pass the national assessment given by TESDA. 
  3. Are you connected to a training institution? 
    NO.  I am a CSS NC II and TM holder.  I created this blog in order to give tips and help others in passing the Computer Systems Servicing NC II. 
  4. Are there any tips? 
    The CSS NC II certificate will only certify that you are capable on the competencies that are outlined above.  You must practice, practice and practice so that you can be prepared not only in passing the assessment but also be competent when you face the real problems in the computer industry.
